Roads are important. It sounds like such a simple thing to say, but in reality, the statement holds more truth than most realize.

Roads are essential to the development of a country. The Romans realized this centuries ago. Wherever they established themselves, they created new roads or improved upon existing road systems.

Today, the governments of all countries in the world are building more and more roads to gain access to the remotest regions of their countries.

Roads link towns, villages and cities. Because of this, it creates the ability to communicate.

This website is another road brought to you by the Township Road Districts of Illinois. It has been created and will be maintained and improved upon to assist us in communicating with each other and with you.

As your Illinois Township Road Districts discover new technologies and products, they utilize these new discoveries to better do their job. In a similar manner, this website road will be maintained by new discoveries, the latest in technology, and new ideas.

We are already using some of those new ideas and methods we have created a Facebook Page to meet our residents where they live; in the world of social media.
